I dunno. Mindless CGI and action scenes?

I'm not going to say that it doesn't look awesome, because it does (and anything that has Christopher Eccleston in it, with a cravat and waistcoat definitely scores points with me what do you mean I'm being biased here), but man if it doesn't look like Elektra, and I've never seen Elektra.

But just... action scene after action scene. I know they do this to sell. And these are 'action' figures. But I'd have much more faith in the movie if they weren't bandying 'FROM THE DIRECTOR OF THE MUMMY' around. ... As if the directing in The Mummy was any good. I mean, I like the movie, but I'm aware it isn't a good movie, you know?

Much rather looking forward to CE's part in the Amelia Earhart movie. Even if it's a smaller part. Why's he choosing crazy and shoddily written action movie adaptations anyway? I sincerely hope it's because a) he needs money or b) he's trying to get some recognition.

Needless to say, I'm betting he's the only thing worthwhile in G.I. Joe.

In other news: I'm sick and I'm addicted to Fringe. Not necessarily because it's good, but because this whole John Scott thing intrigues me. Am I the only person who ships John/Olivia anyway? I don't see anything wrong with this relationship. :| ... Other than he's dead, he lied to her and he's the part of some insane conspiracy. But man, he's cool and he totally loved Olivia. That said, I dunno what my issue is with the writing. Maybe it's the fact that I dont' feel like anything important ever happens. And mostly things are done for squick factor. ... That pregnancy thing in Episode 2 was squick enough. SQUICK ENOUGH. *shudder*

So how is everyone? Going on okay?

Woah. CE is in the new Amelia movie? The one with Hilary Swank? *joy*

And I totally know what you mean about the "good" movie thing. My favourite movie was an awful movie but I still love it. :D

"Why can't they have gay people in the army? Personally, I think they are just afraid of a thousand guys with M16s going, "Who'd you call a faggot!?" ~Jon Stewart ......

My brother would want to see it, sometimes having an 11 year old action/army obesessed kid is a good excuse. :lmao:

I'm sure CE will be the best part about it.

I'm sure the special effects and stunts are going to be amazing. I highly doubt the plot and the writing will be the same.

I'd keep listening to what you have to say, but I also have the best interests of not becoming homicidal at mind, so I won't.

Hilary Swank is in it? *checks*

Ah yes! That movie. \o/!

I... have no favourite movie, I have too many loves. But I have adored some absolutely atrocious movies.

Yeah, me too. I'm not very into G.I. Joe anyway. And the less bloody remakes in this world the better.

CE's usually the best part of most of the horrible movies he's done. That must be why he does them.

Most probably the reason the movies even get a budget, the amount of fans just watch the films for him. :lmao:
