they call me mistah thee

I was thinking about joining an OCT here somewhere, although which one I haven't decided or know quite yet.

<sub>This is Dorothy Mason, also known as 'Thee', as in DoroTHY' or actually and more specifically 'THEodore', which is a name she used when she got hired onto a ship crew disguised as a boy somewhere during the 18th century. As a rule, no one actually knows her real name. A storm blew the ship off course and the crew landed on an unknown island, where they were coincidentally just in time for some ritual sacrificing. There were several misunderstandings, mistaken prayers and the next morning, Thee woke up to find herself the way she is now, in other words with ORANGUTAN ARMS. Erm, I mean as a human sized doll type thing.

The natives were unable to change her back, and now she has to live with it. But hopefully not for much longer.

Unfortunately 'much longer' turned out to actually be really long, and by now she's about three centuries old and still hasn't found a way to change back, despite having spent most of that time searching for solutions.

Her fighting style relies mostly on her giant axe, who she likes to call Ethelred, and talks to on occasion. Since her body is made out of wood (although very strong wood), she's very light, and essentially uses Ethelred's weight to do the work for her, although she can pick it up and move at surprising speeds with it. The main weakness is her joints, and she avoids close physical contact because of this, since good blows or even a punch of her own can snap an arm off. In an attempt to make this less of a problem, she wears several layers of clothing. This doesn't help her arms, since she couldn't find any clothes with arms that went to freakishly long size. Her trousers were tailor made from when she actually had money to use.

The doll quality of her body also applies to her face, specifically in the case of facial expression. She can't move anything on her own. If she's smiling, she'll continue smiling even if she's angry. The only thing she can use to change her expression is the handle she keeps on her 'belt', which she sticks into one of her ears and turns, thus allowing the face to move. She also uses the handle in emergency close combat (it extends slightly in this case), mostly in an attempt to disarm and steal the opponent's weapon for herself, or to throw it aside and head for Ethelred. She does attempt to change her expressions in combat and grows distressed when she can't. As such, she reacts violently when people try and steal the handle.

Despite the fact that she can't express it (or at least can't express it quickly), Thee is very emotional and possibly bipolar, with unexpected and crazy mood swings that are more evidenced in her voice and eyes than what her face is saying. So she could very well be saying "I feel dead inside" with a grin on her face for having forgotten to change her expression earlier. Being a doll with doll eyes has also rendered her colour blind.

She doesn't like dogs and cats, the former for their penchant for peeing on her legs, the latter for using her legs as scratch posts.

She likes classy shoes and making up stories about her life, much in the way old people do.</sub>
