Reading too many Human Nature fics and writing too many of my own?

Yes, I put a corny Godfather reminiscent sepia tone. Which is ironic, because every time I think about London in the Victorian Era (or just London in the old days), I keep imagining everything as gray. Dresses, buildings, stone... horses... humans... flowers... outfits of obnoxiously flamboyant clowns...

I dunno if anyone's been reading the new HN fic that's going on, where Rose has simply popped in for a cup of tea from her universe and in doing so went back 200 years, which is probably nothing terribly abnormal in the DW world, but anyway. She becomes the librarian and that gave me a plot bunny of my own, with my usual overly complicated plots but also holds Rose being a librarian. (Although she's completely lost her memory, been living in the village for almost two years and goes by the name of Mary.) See, this is why I shouldn't think about things, and/or be allowed to write them.

Or in this case, draw them.

Colouring is just bad in this, I'm not used to colouring side profile pictures. X__x

I'll post the non-sepia tone'd pic in my scraps, probably, but I quite like the sepia. It's great, because I think it looks nothing like sepia. So everything is just kind of light orange.

Did you know that during the time of the Ancient Greeks, the sky was bronze?

Don't like cuttlefish?

Ack! The colouring is lovely, and the hair is nice, actually... everything except the face is good. But the face is sort of... strange and distorted and too long and doesn't have nearly enough forehead, and her chin is sort of the wrong shape, and her ear looks a bit too pointed, and her expression bugs me.

Sorry for that. It's nothing personal, and I think this picture must've just not turned out well. Or, alternately, my eyes are having trouble judging proportions. It happens.
